At the end of a seemingly endless bridge over a hot sea of lava stands a massive stone gate whose pillars are adorned with non-figurative patterns. Beyond the gate, corridors richly decorated with sculptures rise out of the glowing lava and run into a circular room. On the perforated stone floor of the room, hot air flows from the molten magma swirling below. Beyond the hall is another corridor leading to a colossal tower. At the top of the building is a statue of a human figure staring silently into nothingness, and at the bottom is a gate that leads to the dark castle.
